Advances in RFID for IoT Applications

Internet-of-Things (IoT) is the recognized paradigm to interconnect heterogeneous physical objects and devices, and RFID is one of the main technologies enabling such paradigm. The special session focuses on advances in RFID and RFID-based devices and in their application in the IoT context. Topics such as RFID tags tailored for specific applications, sensor-tags, tags with computational capabilities are welcome, as well as novel RFID applications for, among others, Smart Healthcare, Smart Transportation, and Smart Cities.
